About Sudoku Rise

Sudoku Rise is an independent, free Sudoku site built to be the fastest, calmest and most accessible way to play — in eleven languages, on any phone, with nothing to install and no account to create.

How the puzzles are made

Every puzzle is generated by our own solver, which fills a valid grid, removes clues, and then proves that exactly one solution remains. Difficulty is set by how many clues are left — Easy keeps the most, Expert the fewest — and every grid is checked for a single solution before you see it. The daily puzzle is derived from the date, which is why everyone in the world solves the same grid on the same day.

What we deliberately leave out

• No mistake limits, lives or timers you cannot switch off.
• No accounts. Streaks, personal bests and statistics stay in your browser.
• No interstitial ads, pop-ups, or ads over the board.
• No tracking before you say yes — see the privacy policy.

Accessibility and performance

The whole game works with a keyboard alone and with screen readers, meets WCAG 2.2 AA contrast, supports reduced motion and a high-contrast theme, and still plays when you zoom to 400%. Pages are static HTML served from a global edge network, so they load quickly on slow connections, and the game keeps working offline once you have visited.
